We will be holding our first virtual summer meeting on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 p.m. CT to explore Austen’s often overlooked volumes of Juvenilia.
Ten JASNA-STL members have graciously volunteered to share readings representative of the range of this early work, written by Austen between the tender ages of 11 to 17 years old.
Whether or not you are familiar with the Juvenilia, you will be amused by Austen’s satirical wit and surprised by the depth of these childhood sketches intended to entertain her family.
Jennifer Darnell, JASNA-STL Treasurer & Membership Coordinator, has generously agreed to host the June meeting from her Zoom account.
You will receive an email with a detailed program with links to readings in the next few days.
Please look for an email approximately 24 hours prior to the meeting with the Zoom link. The protocols for the meeting will be included in this email.

Please note that you can change your background on the Zoom desktop app for PC and Mac and on the mobile Zoom app for iOS devices (iPhone/iPad) apps… but unfortunately the Android app does not support this feature at this time.
